Become a key leader of a rapidly expanding roofing platform!

You will head up multiple companies and branches across the country, implementing strategies and SOPs to drive revenue to $100m.

This is a private equity group who are growing both organically and through acquisitions. They have 4 commercial roofing companies based in Milwaukee WI, Rochester NY, Clevland OH, and Minneapolis, MI. And also, two smaller branches in Dallas and New Jersey.

In total they are generating $70m at a 40% profit margin at each branch, with a very professional and ambitious senior leadership team that includes a CEO, CFO, HR Director, and National Services Manager.

But due to explosive growth they need a high-level COO who can take ownership of the entire operations of the group of companies. You will be working from the main roofing company in Milwaukee WI, but will be developing ALL companies and branches across the group.

To qualify for this position, you MUST be a strong leader who can build rapport with everyone from roofing crews to C-suite executives. And have a genuine desire to work collaboratively in a team to produce exceptional results.

They offer comprehensive services from minor repairs to full replacements. Most of their work in the re-roofing market and 15% service repairs, with a small amount of new construction. This is private negotiated, direct to the end user on projects that include large manufacturing facilities, hotels, and coca cola plants.

Your Role
  • Work in close collaboration with the leadership team to strategize and achieve business growth
  • Manging multiple branches and markets across the country, forecasting production resources and overhead needs and follow budget
  • Complete oversight of operations, implementing strategies to enhance business growth
  • Recruit and develop Branch, General, and Service Managers as right hands at each office
  • Create a high-performance company culture and a leading class training program for all departments
  • Work to integrate company language, metrics, practices in all practicable areas
  • Find ways to measure and report on important metrics in repeatable and cross-branch/company transferable ways
  • Structure company operations by these trackable metrics down to the individual position level
  • Develop key best practices from examining all platform companies and using data/practices from M&A activities on well-run operations
  • Risk Management: Safety and Quality Practices implementation under Safety/Quality Officers, and Compliance management
