Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Special Security Representative (SSR) Specialist employee to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Detachment in White Sands Missile Range, NM.
Primary Responsibilities Assist in the operation of the Advanced Programs Security Office security program under NSWC PHD cognizance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Special Security Representative (SSR) Specialist employee to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Detachment in White Sands Missile Range, NM.
Primary Responsibilities Assist in the operation of the Advanced Programs Security Office security program under NSWC PHD cognizance.
- Maintain applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines under NSWC cognizance and assist in certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances and accesses.
- Maintain the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) NSWC PHD personnel and contractors under NSWC cognizance. Assist with program management of SCI personnel, information, physical, and technical security actions, and procedures.
- Assist with annual self-assessments and with the management and adjudication of unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence information.
- Assist with a continuing SCI security education training and awareness, of original classification authorities and biennial training derivative classifiers.
- Properly account for, control, transmit, transport, package, and safeguard SCI/SAP material and documents. Provide for destruction of SCI by authorized means and in accordance with DoD Manual 5105.21 and DD Form 254, as appropriate under NSWC cognizance.
- Assist with logistics, inventory and property control support. Perform general asset accounting inventory and other services that directly affect ongoing activities including receipt, inspection, tagging/labeling, and storage of classified equipment and materials.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience and familiarity serving in SCI security programs.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience and familiarity in providing technical services and analytic expertise in SCI/SAP program security management.
- SCI Administrative Security Manual (DoD 5105.21) Volumes 1-4, DoDM 5205.07 Volume 2, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD).
- Ability to effectively oversee and utilize the DISS information management system.
- Experience with maintaining accreditation documentation for the SCIF such as communications systems, fixed facility checklist (FFC), and assist with maintaining construction security plans (CSP).
- Results oriented interpersonal security management expertise and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active Top Secret clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access as well as SCI eligibility.
- Experience with SCIF construction and development of construction security plans (CSP) in accordance with ICD-705.
- Experience developing and implementing OPSEC, emergency action and test plans.
- Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
- Experience conducting security incident inquiries and courier preparation procedures.
