Job Summary:
The Manager, Analytics & Intelligence is responsible for harnessing a comprehensive understanding of data across multiple sources to create a unified source of truth. This position will oversee the development and management of data quality, reporting, and dashboards utilized by the Procurement & Supply Chain organization. Key focus areas of this team are trend identification, performance management, and demand forecasting to enhance the decision-making process. Additionally, this role leads the Market Intelligence team in conducting detailed market research and gathering insights on trends, suppliers, and innovations that may impact LUMA's supply chain to ensure informed decision-making by LUMA stakeholders.

Job Description:
  • Lead the Data Analytics and Reporting team in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources/systems to create consolidated reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data reporting and interpretation.
  • Lead the Market Intelligence team in conducting thorough market research and collecting detailed information on market trends, suppliers, and innovations, ensuring that the Strategic Sourcing team, among other stakeholders, has the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions.
  • Oversee the development and maintainence of reports, trackers, and dashboards to effectively identify trends, manage team performance, and forecast.
  • Effectively manage both Data Analytics and Reporting and Market Intelligence teams by setting clear objectives, evaluating performance, mentoring, and encouraging professional development.
  • Drive collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of Data Analytics and Market Intelligence activities with business goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Leverage advanced data analytics and market research tools and technologies to improve the quality of insights and efficient reporting.
  • Ensure all data management and market research activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) linked to overall corporate business objectives or functional areas' specific goals.
  • Mentors through coaching, counseling, on-the-job training, and supervision.
  • Evaluates individual performance of direct and indirect reports and provides, receives, and communicates effective feedback.
  • Follow all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Perform major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned or needed


Additional Job Description:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and market research including 5 years in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau).
  • Experience with supply chain or procurement processes.
  • Excellent skills in Excel, Word, and data analysis, as well as experience with ERP and File Sharing technology
  • Planning and organizing skills, great attention to detail
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (being able to read, speak, and write)
  • Master's degree in business administration, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field.


Licenses/Certifications:
  • Professional designation from a nationally recognized professional institute or association (e.g., Supply Chain Management Professional)


Travel Requirements:
  • 30% Approximately
