This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in EV powertrain systems architecture, analysis, and requirement management. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.You Will:Work in a dynamic, cross-functional team to advance our cutting-edge battery control strategyContribute to our world-acclaimed battery product for mass-market passenger vehicles and stationary energy storage systemsIn conjunction with battery scientists and algorithm engineers, develop performance requirements for miscellaneous battery algorithmsCollaborate with battery software, controls, and infotainment engineers to define ECU system functional and communication interfacesIn conjunction with electrical, functional safety, and homologation engineers, derive and manage engineering activities for compliance to international marketsDrive system analysis such as FMEA and FTA for fault-tolerant battery systemCollaborate with platform software engineers to architect and configure safety-critical ECU RTOSYou Bring:5 years of experience as a systems/product engineer for complete life cycle of complex embedded productsFamiliarity with safety-critical embedded systems development workflowExperience with failure analysis methods such as FMEA and fault tree analysisGood organizational and program management skillsProficiency in C/C++ or MATLAB/SimulinkAdvantageous:Experience with battery management systems and EV powertrainGood understanding of automotive functional safety standards like ISO 26262Exposure to AUTOSAREducation Requirements:BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields, MS preferredSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
