DescriptionWe are in search of a VP/Director of Finance to join our team located in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role plays a crucial part in our finance team, working alongside the leaders of the Residential Business Unit to provide financial and management support. The focus of this role is on New Product Development (NPD) for the Residential Business Unit, strategic planning, and maintaining strong partnerships with various departments to ensure the achievement of the unit's goals and objectives.Responsibilities:• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, including Sr. Financial Analysts, Financial Analysts or Specialists• Conduct financial assessment and analysis of the Residential Business Unit, particularly focusing on total gross margin, productivity/margin improvement, and SG& A• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive financial and operational models for short, medium, and long-term outcomes for the Residential Services portfolio• Oversee the financial aspects of the Residential Business Unit's New Product Development portfolio, including aggregating project financials, reviewing business assumptions, tracking project costs, and maintaining financial business cases• Identify and implement improvements in processes on a daily basis, prepare and communicate periodic analysis around Business Unit performance and budgets/forecasts• Develop analytical tools that support business analytics, maintain business process documentation, and drive continuous improvement• Ensure accuracy of all financial results, analyses, and forecasts, comply with policies and controls, and facilitate purchase order management and cost center budgeting• Regularly assess periodic reporting and analysis needs for business performance management and develop standardized periodic reporting• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules, and ensure compliance across their teams• Safeguard the company’s reputation by keeping information confidential and maintaining professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and networking.Requirements• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance leadership role• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is needed• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential• Familiarity with Concur and CRM systems is expected• Must have demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning• Proficiency in Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), is required• Must have experience with Annual Budget creation and management• Auditing skills are a must• Knowledge of Budget Processes is essential • Must have experience with SAP• Management skills are necessary• Experience with Performance assessment is required• Must have experience with Annual Audited Financial Statements• Experience with Financial Forecasting is a must• Familiarity with Compliance Assessments is required• Business performance management skills are needed• Experience in Product Management is a plusJob typePerm
