Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all pediatric medical services, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement pediatric programs and services that meet community needs.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to establish evidence-based guidelines and protocols.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives within pediatric services.
  • Engage in strategic planning and resource allocation for the pediatric department.
  • Foster a culture of mentorship and professional development among pediatric healthcare providers.
  • Act as a liaison between pediatric services and other hospital departments to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics is required.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric care standards and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, patients, and families.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and improve clinical outcomes.
