RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
* Building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
* Improving reliability, quality, and time-to-market
* Measurement and optimization of system performance
* Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward, getting ahead of our customers’ needs, getting people motivated to transform, innovate and continually improveMinimum QualificationsExperience with designing and developing globally distributed resilient applicationsExperience producing with at least one JVM based languageExperience with testing patterns for producing high quality code (unit/integration testing)Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and cultureExperience supporting mission-critical and highly available systemsBS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent6+ years of software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with distributed systemsExperience with both relational and no-sql databasesExperience designing robust web APIsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teamsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
