DevOps Engineer

Day-to-day Tasks:Manage day-to-day Data Release Cycle and be able to assist in identifying communicating issues and able to coordinate resolution with the Development Team and other groups.Execute and maintain checklists, scripts and processes that support the Data Release Cycle.Establish a strong proficiency with the JAMS Scheduler including how to maintain, create and troubleshoot Jobs and Sequences. Diagnose and resolve common errors and issues related to JAMS and the Data Release Cycle.Ability to create and maintain Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs). Job Requirements:Experience with Job Schedulers such as JAMS and Jenkins (JAMS preferred).Experience with source control such GIT and SVN (Bitbucket preferred).Familiarity with Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, etc.Familiarity with SQL, MarkLogic, and .Net preferred, but not required.Familiarity working with datasets and data files such as delimited text files, Excel, Access, XML, JSON and SQL.Prior experience working in an Agile environment, Scrum & Kanban experience preferred.Able to summarize and communicate errors and issue that require additional support in a timely manner.Detail oriented.
