Locums Bc Obgyn Needed In Ahoskie, Nc

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Womens Care-Ahoskie are seeking a board certified OBGYN physician to provide locums coverage for their established womens care practice located in Ahoskie, North Carolina. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled call for orientation.

24hr call coverage needed as soon as credentialed.
One week at a time hospital coverage only (Monday 7a - Monday 7a) January 2025 until permanent candidate is recruited

• Inpatient Only
• Call
• 114-bed hospital
• Average inpatient census: 2
• Average admissions per day:1  per night: 1
• No ICU responsibilities
• LT will not respond to codes
• Support from nearby James and Connie Maynard Childrens hospital including pediatric transport
• ALSO certification (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics)
  • ALSO certification is required within 6 months if provider plans on staying on long term. 
  • NRP required if provider plans on staying 6 months or long term
• LT must have evidence of completion of the AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years
• EPIC EMR
