CHI Health Clinicisactively seeking afull-time OB/GYNto join our established practice in Omaha, Nebraska (42nd & L Clinic). This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, robust practice.

Great opportunity for a bilingual (Spanish) Ob-Gyn who has a desire to work with underserved populations.

Details of the position:

  • Busy practice with existing patient panel available
  • Growing team of 6 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers
  • Call 1:6+
  • Average of 21-24 patient visits per day, per provider
  • Average of 10 deliveries per month, per provider
  • Provide full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care for women of all ages
  • In-office Ultrasound, NST, and Colposcopy available
  • Deliveries at a tertiary care facility with a level 3 NICU
  • LEEP is available inpatient only
  • EPIC
  • Integrated clinic model partnering closely with primary care, diabetic education, psych, physical therapy, and pharmacy
  • Works closely with womens subspecialties Maternal Fetal Medicine and Urogynecology
  • Utilize the DaVinci surgical robot and other state of the art equipment, depending on case needs
  • Access to efficient Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education
  • Opportunity for Academic Appointment with Creighton University

Details of the position:

  • Must be BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Ability to obtain an Iowa and Nebraska License
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information.
    • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
    • Perform procedures as needed
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
  • Quality Improvement:
    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
    • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Compliance:
    • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
    • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
    • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
    • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible

Pay Range
$139.42 - $157.21 /hour
