Genesis HealthCare System is currently seeking a General Surgeon to provide care at our hospital. This is a broad-based General surgery position that encompasses the full breadth of general surgery cases including: Breast, colorectal, endoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, trauma, and acute care.
The position is open to candidates with all levels of experience, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Recruitment Package:
- 3 year guaranteed base salary starting at $national median & up based on experience

Aspects of this Position Include:
- Modern, state-of-the-art hospital with 12 ORs, including 1 hybrid room, and 2 Xi robots
- Newly renovated endoscopy suites
- Ambulatory surgery center and physician office located on medical campus
- Level III trauma center
- High volume robotic program
- Participate in general/trauma surgery call; 1:5 or better
- Share our philosophy of patient and family-centered care
- Epic EMR
- 24 Hr. in-house critical care physician coverage
- BC/BE in General Surgery
- Trauma fellowship is a plus
This is an employed position with Genesis' physician-governed medical group. Very competitive compensation package, CME of $5,000/year, 8 weeks vacation, other financial incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
