The Assembler is responsible for fabricating and assembling parts, subassemblies, and products using an array of tools and equipment following assembly instructions and/or drawing specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. *Complete work as directed by immediate supervisor. *Work with other members of a line or group to assemble products. *Work with Product Development and Quality to develop prototypes, assemblies, and methods. *Perform all work to meet quality and safety standards and procedures. *Maintain a clean and safe environment. *Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms. *Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS *High school diploma or equivalent. *Must have experience working in a clean room environment. Must have at least One (1) or more years of assembly experience in the Medical Device Industry. *Must have Microscope AND Soldering experience. *Use of small hand tools (IE: rulers, calipers, cutters, tweezers, etc.). *Use of various equipment (IE: UV Curing Station, Hot Air Guns, Soldering Station, Pull Tester, etc.). *Excellent hand-eye coordination, quick learner. *Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors. *Understanding of ISO / FDA Quality System Requirements and guidelines. *General knowledge of lab safety, MS Office and reading written instructions and specification drawings Occasionally the employee may be required to lift or move at least 25 pounds.
