What you'll be doing...

We're looking for a passionate Account Executive to join our gaming team.

The Games team at Future shares collaborative opportunities with partners for brands such as PC Gamer, GamesRadar+, PC Gaming Show, Future Games Show and the Golden Joystick Awards. This team works with gaming publishers, gaming developers, gaming hardware brands along with non-games brands that have an interest in targeting a gaming audience.

You will develop a sales territory and works all phases of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing to renewing and growing accounts. You should have a strong desire to learn, have account management skills of some of the diverse portfolio of advertising Future offers including digital and print display, newsletters, custom content, and event sponsorships. You will report to the VP of Games.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...
  • At least 3+ years of work experience in the media industry with client-facing experience
  • Background with gaming clients and/or a strong personal interest in gaming
  • Knowledge of online & print advertising terms, sales process, and sales flow.
  • Experience creating including spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and pitch decks/presentations.

Please note, you will have a base salary along with a commission structure attached.

This would be a hybrid opportunity our of our New York offices, working three days from the office and two days from home.

Please note, the salary range for this position is $87,000 - $110,000 base salary. Please note, this role will have a base salary along with a commission structure attached.
