The Swift Group is seeking a Senior Requirements Specialist with expertise using Jira to join a dynamic team revolutionizing analysis by delivering innovative tools that enable users to find relevant information, identify connections in the data, and collaborate effectively. The goal is to enhance the effectiveness of analysts in their roles. We are seeking a dynamic candidate with extensive knowledge in requirements gathering, validation, and tracking to join our group of Subject Matter Experts, Requirements Specialists, Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, Project Managers, Trainers, and Mission Partners. This is a fast-paced, mission-supporting, analytical environment that manages mission requirements and introduces cutting-edge technologies. This position is onsite in Reston, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Agile requirements process for application development.
  • Attend regular team meetings to discuss ongoing application updates and improvements.
  • Help the product owner and development team achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Elicit application requirements from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with local and community end users and development partners.
  • Incorporate requirements into the application development plan.
  • Support analytic production applications and analytic workflow processes.
  • Provide end user support and oversee the requirements tracking process.

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing requirements in an Agile development environment and consulting in a multi-project environment.
  • Proficiency using JIRA project management software.
  • Experience providing training and demonstrations to application users.
  • Expertise in drafting and performing a vetting process for new requirements, ensuring all relevant information is provided prior to approval.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating exchange meetings or forums to determine customer needs.
  • Ability to consult with customers to clarify and validate complex requests.
  • Skill in coordinating, facilitating, and providing substantive input to meetings to assist in the design and implementation of requirements.
  • Experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders to prioritize work.
  • Proficiency in performing a final technical review and validation of requirements.
  • Skill in preparing requirements for review and acceptance.
  • Experience ensuring all outstanding requests for requirements are tracked.
  • Ability to monitor submitted requirements and communicate their status.
  • Experience interacting with service providers and customers to resolve complex concerns associated with pending or in-process requirements.
  • Skill in ensuring follow-up with customers and service providers, verifying completion of requirements, and meeting expectations.
  • Ability to assist with the collection and reporting of requirements-related metrics.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or 5+ years of additional experience.
  • US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with production applications and analytic workflow processes.
  • Experience using Tableau Desktop for high-level data visualizations.
  • Experience conducting application adoption activities with partners.
  • Proficiency with Confluence software.
  • Experience supporting project managers, subject matter experts, by planning projects, developing contingencies, and producing schedules.
  • Experience supporting concept development, systems specifications, technical exchanges, and metrics analysis.
  • Problem-solving skills, including organizing and structuring solutions to complex issues.
  • Coordination and collaboration skills, with the ability to work successfully across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience testing end-to-end requirements in applications for deployment decisions.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Framework..
  • MA/MS Degree.
