Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) development tools, including MicroStrategy, in a highly collaborative Scrum environment. Design, implement, and maintain our data warehouse and front end reporting systems that allow users to access to pre-designed reports and self-serve analysis. Work with data warehouses and utilize Agile principles and practices as well as Microsoft SQL Server. Support our growing brick and mortar gaming facilities. Design, develop, build and maintain ETL processes and Data Warehouse objects (including SSIS, Transactional Replication/CDC, SQL Procedures, MicroStrategy semantic model, SSAS, MDS/DQS, BIML, PowerShell scripts). Translate business requirements into detailed, production-level technical specifications and data models. Modify existing reports and/or develop new reports by analyzing databases, data sources, and structures for the benefit of users. Use SQL including complex stored procedures, common table expressions, analytic functions, query optimization, and indexing. Design, implement, and maintain normalized, operational data store, and dimensionally modeled database systems. Participate in data management and data warehousing technologies related to data modeling, database administration and performance tuning, archiving, and disaster recovery. Use object-oriented languages such as C#, PowerShell, or Python to program and configure data warehouses. Use Agile and Scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, develop user stories, and work through backlogs. Work with multi-terabyte data sets. Design and build enterprise conceptual or logical data models. Contribute to the design and optimization of CDI's data layer as the company's single layer of the truth.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer science, computer engineering, or information technology.

Experience Requirement: 5 years of experience as data engineer, data developer, or related.

Special Skills: Must have experience in each of the following: 1) Building scalable ETL frameworks that include dynamic SQL, complex stored procedures, common table expressions, analytic functions, query optimization, and indexing; 2) designing and implementing normalized operational data stores and dimensionally-modelled database systems, including modelling and instantiating slowly changing dimensions, building and interpreting entity-relational-diagrams, and applying new data concepts to custom data orchestration systems; and 3) mapping business processes into technical requirements and articulating advantages and disadvantages of various technologies and standards to non-technical audiences and various business units.
