We have an exciting position open to Work remotely from home office - NJ, NY or Midwest (preferable) as Senior Account Manager, NA Sales
The Senior Account Manager (SAM) role is responsible for managing and growing a base of existing and new accounts for Aptar Closures, meeting or exceeding unit, revenue, and sustainable profitability growth targets. The SAM will work closely with Regional Sales Leadership, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to drive growth by identifying new opportunities within their current portfolio and developing new business through defined growth strategies and target customers.

Job Elements & Position Responsibilities
- Long-term account portfolio strategy development & short-term action planning.
- Customer presence and cross-functional relationship development.
- Systematic prospecting supported by marketing teams.
- Commercial negotiations & management of agreements.
- Internal priority setting & stakeholder alignment by function.
- Revenue generation by upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintaining a strong knowledge on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and present reports on account performance.
- +5 years of account management and sales experience.
- Exposure to multi-national consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.
- Sales experience preferred in packaging or related industries, with a strong understanding of technical packaging solutions to effectively create and communicate benefits to client's.
- Packaging industry experience highly preferable.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant sales tools
- Strong leadership capabilities & growth potential.
- Team player but ready to work and drive actions independently.
- Ability to work across functions internally and at the client.
- Strong experience in selling and in the management of large account relationships.
- Good communicator at all levels of the organization.
- Readiness to travel as required by business needs (up to 50%).
- Meet or exceed budgeted sales & margin targets.
- Develop opportunity pipeline and accelerate conversion rate.
- Continually refine & communicate customer value proposition.
- Build and execute structured relationship plans.
- Position Aptar as the preferred supplier for all applicable needs.
- Monitor account performance by product line and react to variances
