- Lead Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: Take ownership of the company's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial models. Work closely with business units to ensure accurate and realistic financial plans.
- Strategic Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions, including investments, new initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Financial Reporting and Variance Analysis: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. analyze financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identify key drivers of variances, and communicate findings to senior leadership.
- Scenario Planning and Sensitivity Analysis: Develop financial models and conduct scenario planning to assess the impact of different business strategies, economic conditions, and operational changes.
- KPI Monitoring and Dashboard Development: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business health. Create and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights to management.
- Collaboration with Senior Leadership: Serve as a financial partner to senior executives, providing financial recommendations and acting as a trusted advisor for key strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the FP&A function. Implement best practices and automation tools to increase the efficiency and accuracy of forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Lead and manage ad-hoc financial projects, including M&A analysis, capital expenditure evaluation, and profitability analysis of new business ventures.
