PositionOverview:
Siemens Mobility, Inc. is lookingfor an experienced Business Segment (BS) Controller for our Customer ServiceBusiness. In this role, you will be responsible for the profit and loss ofLight Rail projects, Digital Services and Maintenance Innovation BusinessSegment by directing its accounting and financial functions. This position can be based in Sacramento, CAor Lexington, NC working in a hybrid environment.

The base salary range for thisposition in Sacramento, CA is $187,300-$253,200 and in Lexington, NC is $170,200-$230,300and the annual incentive target is 20% of the base salary. Theactual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget andcandidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

PositionOverview:
Siemens Mobility, Inc. is lookingfor an experienced Business Segment (BS) Controller for our Customer ServiceBusiness. In this role, you will be responsible for the profit and loss ofLight Rail projects, Digital Services and Maintenance Innovation BusinessSegment by directing its accounting and financial functions. This position can be based in Sacramento, CAor Lexington, NC working in a hybrid environment.
Whatyour day-to-day will look like:
- Ensurethat all relevant commercial aspects are considered in all entrepreneurialdecisions, bids and project execution.
- Designand realize the BS strategic and business goals (including budgets) togetherwith the BS Head.
- Strivefor the best results in growth, profit, FCF, EVA by effective performance offinancial resources, excellent leadership, and people development. Responsiblefor leading Segment P&L.
- Leadand execute the performance controlling for the BS, taking ownership for accurateaccounting & reporting in compliance with relevant guidelines, as well asMonth End Closing Activities and commercial KPI activities. Lead a team ofCommercial Project Managers.
- Guaranteetransparent and up to date commercial information as basis for strategic andoperational actions and decisions.
- Continuouslylook for improvements to processes, systems and tools via roboticsoptimization.
- LeadCommercial Bid and Project Managers in line with PM at Siemens, therebyapplying guidelines and regulations of the company, including contracts/claimmanagement and negotiations. This includes responsibility forfinancial/commercial management of contracts with customers, consortiumpartners, regional units and suppliers while improving the project profit andcustomer satisfaction.
- Lead aproactive Risk Management and NCC-Management.
- Optimize the Capital Allocation with a focus onminimizing Working Capital.
Tothrive in this role, you have:
- Bachelor'sDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business-related subject area. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, education andproven strong Siemens relevant experience will be considered,
- 10+years of experience in finance and/or commercial project management,
- Experiencemanaging P&L and Balance Sheets,
- Experienceleading a team,
- Abilityto make recommendations based advanced root cause and alternative solutionanalysis,
- Excellentcommercial, verbal, and written communication skills; demonstrate presentationskills and versatility,
- Theability to understand and articulate information to multiple partners isrequired in a fast paced and often dynamic work environment
- Settingyou apart from others would be a Master's degree in accounting or finance with pastbusiness segment controller experience in a complex project business orlaunching new business lines along with commercial function in sales and commercialbid experience.
