We are seeking a Sales and Account Manager to join our growing Sales and Account Management team.
What will you do?
Merchant Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants, developing trusted advisor relationships and proactively managing merchant satisfaction.
- Address merchant service requests, handle escalations, and ensure proper feedback channels are provided for issue resolution.
- Conduct regular business reviews to ensure merchants are satisfied with our products and services, and identify areas for improvement.
Business Growth and Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support company growth and assist with the implementation of account plans to drive growth within existing merchant accounts.
- Manage up-selling and cross-selling efforts, identifying ways to introduce additional products or functionalities to existing merchants.
- Monitor and analyze merchant performance to discover growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Product Knowledge and Sales Support
- Understand our product offerings thoroughly to effectively assist merchants and provide outstanding sales support to the sales teams and prospective merchants.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with Customer Support, Operations, Integration, and Finance teams to ensure successful account management and implementation of account plans.
- Assist with underwriting and onboarding activities for new merchants.
Process Management and Documentation
- Manage merchant projects such as Know Your Customer (KYC) exercises, and maintain workflow and process documentation.
- Update and maintain merchant contact information in the CRM system to ensure accurate records.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within e-commerce/ B2B Sales.
- Experience in technical sales would be considered an asset.
- Well-developed planning and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- A positive, energetic can-do attitude.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
- An effective communicator, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results driven and take initiative.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to travel in North America.
