By joining our rapidly growing Private Equity practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You'll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our clients solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. As a Director at CrossCountry Consulting you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, business development, leading teams and developing junior team members, as well as serving as a member of CrossCountry's leadership team.

What You'll Do:
    • Report to the National Business Development Partner while working closely with National Private Equity Leaders
    • Cultivate new relationships with Portfolio Support, Operating Partners, and Investment teams within Private Equity funds
    • Drive the identification and closure of new business opportunities across portfolio companies
    • Specialize in providing support to Portfolio Support, Operating Partners, and Deal Teams to enhance the value delivered to the Office of the CFO within portfolio companies
    • Identify and assess all potential opportunities throughout the sales process
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and process, coordinating both internal and external resources to optimize CrossCountry Consulting's positioning for securing business
    • Proactively engage with existing relationships, networking channels, professional associations, and industry forums
    • Support leadership team in cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate
    • Collaborate closely with marketing professionals to craft targeted go-to-market strategies tailored for the Private Equity sector
    • Contribute to the establishment and expansion of a top-tier National Sales division
    • Serve as a coach and mentor to team members, fostering their professional growth and development


What You'll Bring:
    • 10+ years of demonstrated success in selling professional services, networking, and driving new business growth
    • Extensive professional network spanning Portfolio Support, Operating Partners, and Investment teams at Private Equity funds, and CFOs of portfolio companies
    • Demonstrated ability in identifying and accessing new Private Equity opportunities
    • Knowledge of the business development cycle, including the development, management and execution of sales and BD planning, lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, and sales strategy
    • Understanding of the private equity industry and the typical finance, accounting, and technology services that CFO functions of portfolio companies procure
    • Consistent track record of meeting annual revenue targets
    • History of cultivating key relationships within Private Equity firms and leveraging those connections to secure new opportunities across the portfolio
