US - Account Manager
Position description

We're an award-winning business outsourcer providing offshore and onshore staffing solutions that are Safe, Flexible, and Innovative for our global clients.

As an Acquire BPO employee, your role is vital in achieving and exceeding individual and team targets that support company objectives, while growing and maintaining customer relationships. You're also responsible for complying with and enforcing procedures aligned with our information security policies.

A snapshot of your role

As an Account Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering strategic planning, commercial growth, and strengthening our client relationships. Your responsibilities include:
  • Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to engage with new departments within existing clients.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, client roadshows and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
  • Serving as the primary contact for client-related commercial concerns and needs.
  • Cultivating robust, long-term client partnerships.
  • Maintaining detailed client records and tracking contract renewals and updates.
  • Gaining an in-depth understanding of our products and services to effectively upsell and cross-sell.
  • Leading strategic account review sessions.
  • Leading RFX's from solutioning through to contract award for existing clients.
  • Managing reporting and updates related to contract renewals and key strategic activities.
  • Establishing trusted relationships with key clients, including C-suite executives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams like HR, recruitment, finance, IT, and marketing to boost profitability.
  • Undertaking additional duties as required.


What success looks like
  • Consistent growth in client numbers and successful contract renewals.
  • Maintenance of a healthy Gross Profit (GP) across all programs.
  • Effective client retention strategies.
  • Regular client reviews to identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Strategic collaborations with sales, marketing, finance, IT and operational teams.
  • Development of clear and effective strategic account plans.
  • Utilising strong negotiation skills and CRM tools to optimise sales processes.
  • Understanding and addressing complex client requirements.


Your experience
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in the BPO industry, or extensive sales experience.
  • Proven multitasking abilities.
  • A history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A critical and strategic thinker who values feedback.
  • A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence.
