The organization, Vertical Lift Division is seeking an Experienced Product Review Engineer (Level 3) to join our Production Engineering team in Mesa, AZ.

Our team creates the next generation products and services for the ClientS business unit.

Our Production Engineering team provides support throughout the Mesa site including: the AH-64 Apache Final Assembly and Production Flight Test areas.

Our group works all facets of engineering solutions from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.

The Experienced Product Review Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in high intensity development, production, and sustainment projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to interact and coordinate engineering solutions with production operations, Integrated Product Teams, suppliers, and our direct customers.

This position will focus on AH-64E model manufacturing and production of structures, composites (both primary and secondary), final assembly, up to and including Production Flight Test.

Additionally there are opportunities to support various other ClientS products at the Mesa Composite, Metallics, and Electrical Centers of Excellence. This role will support the ClientS, Vertical Lift site and associated Fabrication Centers of Excellence.

Position Responsibilities:
• Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
• Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.
• Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
• Identifies documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution.
• Develops and implements product/process improvements.
• Supports Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews.
• Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.
• Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
• Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Participates in on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support team.
• Analyzes damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, prevent collateral damage and assure a safe work environment.
• Designs interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
• Develops non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.
• Conducts simple static strength analysis.

Required Skill Set :
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 5 years or more of experience in/with manufacturing, production, and engineering related fields.

Desired Skills Set :
• 5 to 8 years or more of experience in/with manufacturing, production, and engineering related fields:
• Aerospace and/or Rotorcraft.
• Material Review Board Certified.
• Universal Product Review, member of.

Education Qualification :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, AClient accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
