Job Summary
The Cisco Enterprise Agreements Sales Consultant will be responsible for the analysis and sales of Cisco Enterprise Agreements with a focus on Security & Networking. Some responsibilities of the sales consultant will include cost analysis, ROI analysis, proposal solution selling, and quoting. A successful candidate for this position will be able to execute in those areas using strong communication and presentation skills towards customers.
This position is required to report to the SHI Austin TX, SHI Somerset, NJ office location or can be remote, as determined by SHI management.
This role will report to the Manager of Cisco EA Solutions within the ASG Customer Success & Acquisition department.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
- Execute the technical discovery and qualification of Cisco Enterprise Agreement offerings and leads
- Consult directly with SHI customers and uncover business requirements and outcomes
- Identify & position Cisco Security & Networking software technical solutions
- Identify potential Security & Networking tech refresh opportunities & work with our engineers & sales team to provide a comprehensive proposal
- Generate and present proposals to the customers during the sales cycle
- Maintain a pipeline of Cisco Enterprise Agreement opportunities
- Transition customers to the appropriate Cisco Customer Success Manager
- Demonstrate leadership to ensure that SHI's recommended enterprise solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer expectations, and meet customer business needs and planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Cisco Sales Experience working within Cisco Software and Portals required
- 3+ years of experience selling and consulting on Cisco software in at least one of these architectures:
- Collaboration
- Security
- Networking
- Data Center
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Required Skills
- Deep understanding of Cisco software and portals
- Deep knowledge of the Cisco sales industry
- Strong sales skills are required
- Ability to organize material and complete writing assignments according to order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology standards
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Listening skills with the ability to accurately receive and interpret information
Unique Requirements
- Travel nationally, up to 25%
Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include but are not limited to medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
