About the Role - Key Responsibilities
- Paid Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and lead paid search, paid social, and display advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more.
- Campaign Optimization & Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and optimize for key metrics. Provide regular performance insights and recommendations.
- Budget Management: Allocate budgets effectively, perform bid adjustments, and manage daily spending to meet or exceed client KPIs.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of paid media strategists and analysts, providing training, coaching, and leadership to help achieve their professional goals.
- Client Strategy & Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, internal teams, and occasionally clients to ensure alignment between paid media strategies and business objectives. Own the result.
- Media Planning & Forecasting: Create media plans, determine budget allocations, and provide accurate forecasts for client campaigns.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Stay updated with industry trends and ensure the team implements best practices in all paid media efforts.

- Maintain knowledge of all marketing programs

- Identify and interpret trends as appropriate
- Request and review ad hoc data analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with both the client and internal team
- Coordinate and facilitate client meetings (weekly, quarterly, etc.)
- Recommend, architect, and test opportunities to increase return on marketing spend
- Work with the team to optimize content and improve conversions
- Negotiate agreement renewals

- Prior experience in account management or client-facing roles in the performance marketing industry
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and KPIs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Your Experience
- 5+ years of experience in managing paid digital campaigns across search, social, and display channels.
- Tools & Platforms: Extensive hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads (including Search, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads). Familiarity with tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Google Analytics (GA4).
- Ad Tech & Automation: Experience using bid management and campaign automation tools. Familiarity with scripts to automate common tasks in Google Ads or using tools like Zapier for workflow automation.
- Tracking & Analytics: High-level, advanced proficiency in using Google Analytics (including setting up Goals, Funnels, and Attribution modeling), Google Tag Manager, and tracking tools for conversion rate optimization.
- Budget & Bidding Expertise: Proven experience managing monthly budgets of $50,000+ and optimizing bids and budgets to meet or exceed campaign KPIs. Additionally, experience managing smaller spend accounts, knowing that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to digital advertising.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) and experience with visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.
- A/B Testing & CRO: Experience running A/B tests on ad creatives and landing pages, with a solid understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices. Knowledge of CRO tools like VWO, Optimizely, or Unbounce is preferred.
- Client-Facing Experience: Strong communication skills with a proven track record of participating in client meetings as necessary and delivering performance reports in an understandable and actionable manner.
- Team Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring a small team (3-5 people), providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, and supporting their career growth.
- Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Meta Blueprint certifications required.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop comprehensive paid media strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable growth
