As a Solution Architect within Bunzl's eCom application, you will be responsible for delivering technology solutions within the application delivery space. You will partner with business leaders and cross-functional IT teams to identify strategic vision, design, and execute technology roadmaps. You will play an important leadership role in delivering on our tactical and strategic objectives, providing solutions that support Bunzl's business, including 3rd party applications, custom build solutions, Business Process Management, and Cloud integration.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the technical implementation of new features in a highly collaborative work environment alongside product managers and engineers.
- Build center of excellence including best practices, standards, code reviews, designs, CI/CD implementations.
- Build strong working relationships with product and technical leaders.
- Influence priority and roadmaps of multiple teams.
- Work with product management and engineering teams to identify technical requirements, limitations, and bottlenecks.
- Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements and execute against various rollout and communication strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's Degree in Computer Science, Information System Management, other related fields or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, process management-related work in support of a technical environment preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Solutions Architect role
- Implement ecommerce and product information management solutions
- Proficient in object oriented programming languages such as Java, C#.
- JavaScript based front end frameworks such as Angular or React
- Data integrations, ETL, batch jobs, RESTful APIs, microservices
- Infrastructure capacity planning, application resiliency, scalability, metrics gathering, observability
- Understand cloud computing services and deployment architecture, Azure experience preferred
- Track record of delivering technical programs, projects, and products in a highly technological environment
