The Digital Marketing Manager (Email Marketing) will work with the Digital and Client Account teams to define and craft email marketing strategies and implement and monitor email marketing campaigns for Buffalo Groupe clients. We are seeking a candidate well-rounded in various digital marketing channels, but with deep experience in marketing automation and lead nurturing, segmentation strategies, database management and the overall assessment and performance analysis of email marketing initiatives.

The Digital Marketing Manager (Email Marketing) will work with the Digital and Client Account teams to define and craft email marketing strategies and implement and monitor email marketing campaigns for Buffalo Groupe clients. We are seeking a candidate well-rounded in various digital marketing channels, but with deep experience in marketing automation and lead nurturing, segmentation strategies, database management and the overall assessment and performance analysis of email marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and creation of creative email marketing campaigns that support client needs across various industries (e.g., real estate, golf, home services).
- Recommend, define, deploy and monitor marketing automation and lead nurturing (drip campaign) workflows and the associated content / messaging.
- Recommend, define, deploy and monitor workflow triggers associated with client information needs and lead management.
- Create and manage distribution lists, databases, and email campaigns managed within client email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, SharpSpring, Constant Contact).
- Utilize A/B testing to improve campaign performance
- Recommend and utilize A/B testing opportunities for email engagement and continually assess improvements, performance.
- Continually monitor and analyze email campaign performance and recommend / implement improvements. Provide monthly 'insights' reporting.
- Stay current on email marketing industry best practices, technologies and email deliverability requirements and regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.), and utilize those findings to improve client email marketing initiatives.
- Work with our Creative and Web Production teams to create email campaigns.
- Other digital marketing work, as identified by management team.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in email and direct mail marketing
- Experience with CRM systems and customer list segmenting and targeting
- Experience with A/B testing and reporting
- Experience defining and implementation email marketing automation strategies
- Experience establishing and/or tracking [email] marketing KPIs and ROI
- Strong analytical skills
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
