Responsibilities
  • Manage complex future Support Infrastructure projects (software installations)
    • ERP, CRM, HRIS, and upgrade projects with PM software
  • For each project, identify the proposed scope and select the Project Team most appropriate for the project.
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates by breaking the scope into manageable tasks and estimate each task separately (bottom up)
    • Select, contract, and manage all subconsultants
    • Set up each project in the financial management system, including the input of budgets by phase.
    • Meet with the Project Team required to: determine project progress, identify remaining tasks, establish schedule, budget, and projects resource demands

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
  • Project Management: Experience in project management of business operations projects, preferably in an engineering or related industry. This includes leading and successfully delivering projects from initiation to closure, with a track record of meeting project objectives, timeline, and budgets.
  • Diverse Project Portfolio: Experience managing a diverse portfolio of projects. This could include overseeing projects such as IT system installations, project management system implementations, tool/process installations, infrastructure developments, and other operation support projects.
  • Scope, Schedule, and Budget Development: Experience with 1) defining and documenting specific goals, deliverables, tasks and constraints, 2) creating a detailed schedule for project activities, tasks, milestones, and deadlines, and 3) estimating, allocating, and managing financial resources required to execute the project activities and deliverables.
  • Planning: Experience setting objectives, determining the actions required to achieve those objectives, and developing a systematic approach to coordinate and allocate resources effectively within a specified timeframe.
  • Delegating: Experience assigning tasks, responsibilities, and authority to others while retaining ultimate accountability for the outcomes. Identifying suitable individuals for specific tasks, providing clear instructions and expectations, and monitoring progress to ensure successful completion of delegated activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience engaging and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, team members, clients, and vendors. Experience in gathering requirements, communicating project goals, and ensuring alignment between project deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
  • Risk Management: Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize potential disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Financial Management: Ability to develop and manage project budget, monitor costs, and make informed decisions to keep projects within budgetary constraints. Experience in budget development, cost estimations, and financial management.

Total Compensation Range for Project Manager Position: $120k - $150k
