HIGHLAND PEDIATRICS SEEKS OUTPATIENT PEDIATRICIAN - SCENIC WATERFRONT WITH CLOSE PROXIMITY TO PROVIDENCE AND BOSTON

Position: Pediatrician (PT/FT, BE/BC)

Highland Pediatrics (HP) in historic Fall River, Massachusetts, is excited to welcome a new full-time or part-time BE/BC pediatrician to our well-established, busy, growing private practice.

About Us:

• Team: 7 physicians (4 full-time, 3 (part-time), 6 nurse practitioners (NPs), 1 physician assistant (PA).
• Environment: Collaborative and congenial with recently renovated office space.
• Technology: Pediatric-specific electronic medical records (EMR).

Location:

• Community Hospital: Manage our healthy newborns. Neonatologists provide 24-hour level-II nursery and delivery room coverage. No pediatric in-patient responsibilities are required.
• Complex Case Referrals: To Boston Childrens, Hasbro Childrens, Mass General Hospitals, and Boston Medical Center.
• Shared Call: Equitably shared calls with a phone triage service for overnight calls.
• Living in and around Fall River: Enjoy a vibrant coastal town with easy access to Providence, Newport, Boston, and Cape Cod. The area boasts numerous outdoor activities, affordable housing, and highly rated schools.

Compensation:

• Total Value: Close to $600,000 over three years total cash package
• The Competitive Salary and Benefits Package includes 401k with employer contributions, signing bonuses, early ownership opportunities, student loan payback assistance, and annual bonuses based on practice performance.

Benefits:

• Health Insurance: Family health insurance if needed. If not required and the doctor becomes an owner, they will receive an amount equal to the premium cost paid by the Corporation for other physician owners.
• Malpractice Insurance: OCCURRENCE coverage.
• Licenses and Renewals: Reimbursement for Massachusetts license renewals and applications, Rhode Island license applications and renewals, DEA renewal, and Mass CS renewal.
• Professional Development: Time and financial support for lactation training (approximately 4-5 days).
• Membership Dues: Reimbursement for hospital dues and application fees, AAP membership renewal dues, MCAAP dues, and MMS dues.
• Ownership Opportunity: Early ownership with growth investment.

Vacation and Call:

• Vacation: 4 one-week periods with flexibility. Increases to 5 weeks upon becoming an owner.
• Call: Approximately 44 weekdays per year (less than once per week), 12 weekend days on call, 3 Saturday mornings (during busy season), 1-2 holidays on call, with the office closed six holidays/year and closed on Sundays in July and August, as well as Easter.
