Pediatric Pathologist opportunity near Virginia Beach. Job ID# 73246 Job Details: * Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Pathology * The annual workload consists of approximately 5,500 general pediatric surgical pathology cases including about 1,700 gastrointestinal biopsy accessions, about 20 autopsies per year, approximately 200 pediatric non-gynecology cytology cases (primarily CSF and BAL) and an average of 60 new malignancies of which approximately half are of hematologic origin. * Clinical pathology duties include sign-out of blood smears, bone marrows and hemoglobin electrophoresis, transfusion service involvement and consultation with laboratory staff and clinicians.Cerner EMR * Must be AP/CP certified * Many benefits, including relocation packages, generous CME allowance, maternity/paternity leave, and comprehensive benefit package that includes a generous 401(k), profit sharing, health insurance, visa assistance and professional liability. * Beautiful location near Virginia Beach!
