Opportunity: * Looking for a locums OB/GYN to fill their need! * Schedule: Hospital - M-F Varies; Office/Clinic - 8a-5p M-F * Call Schedule: 1 in 4. Clinic days are 4 days per provider. * 24-Hour In-house: No * Call Back Percentage: Weekday - 80%; Weekend - 80%; OB - 80%; GYN - 20% * Provider will work 4 days in clinic and 8 days of call per month. CNMs generally cover weekends as 1st call * Percentage of Practice: Low risk pregnancy - 50%; High risk pregnancy - 50%; C-Section - 20%; Office GYN - 35%; Surgical GYN - N/A * Response Time: 20 min * Average number of patients per physician per day: Clinic - 15-20 * Average number of deliveries per physician per week: 6 * Number of staff in the group: OB/GYN - 3; Mid-levels - 2; MFM/Perinatologists - virtual * Locum tenens physician is required to supervise other healthcare providers: YES, but not supervision but 2 certified nurse mid-wives when they take 1st call * OB/GYNS present during locum tenens coverage: YES * Lab & Ultrasound onsite: YES, performed by Tech * Number of exam rooms: 13 * Office ancillary: RNs support MD in clinic * Office equipment: US * Documentation system: Epic (Hospital & Clinic) * Hospital Services: * Total number of beds: 39 * ICU beds: 4 * Trauma Level 3 * Nursery services: Level II (Ability to transfer to higher Level NICU * Referral/Transfer protocol: There is a central line ("DocLine") to call and coordinate transfers * Required Procedures: * Obstetrics: * Low risk pregnancy Pt s with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis,etc. * High risk pregnancy Pt. s with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc. * FHR interpretation NST/CST/FSE * OB ultrasounds Performance of Interpretation (Level I/screening (viability) * Labor and Delivery: * Routine delivery Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section * Complicated delivery C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc. * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Gynecology: * Office/minor gynecology IUD, Cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. * Surgical gynecology open * laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only tubal ligation, LOA s, chromal tubation * operative/major (includes diagnostic) ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA s Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
