Founded by our Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites. Practice Highlights * FM or IM-Geriatrician to provide directorship of professional administrative, medical, and teaching services to meet the patient care and administrative needs of our Senior and Residential (SR) care program. * Provide complete oversight of medical care and training with responsibility for program quality, strategic planning, growth of the program, and safety of care to our senior population at assigned facilities. * Care is provided in contracted SNFs, AFHs, and ALFs in our area. * Strong clinical and elderly care with preference for an internal medicine background or geriatrician. * Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus. * EMR: GERIMED Total Rewards * Excellent full benefit package includes M/D/V/RX/AD&D/L/LTD/HSA, retirement, voluntary benefits, FTCA malpractice coverage. $0-$25 p/m premiums for employees, company subsidized premiums to add family. * Generous PTO, EIT, and 9 paid holidays. * CME time and allowances. * Student Loan Repayment Programs and PSLF. * Relocation and sign-on bonuses. * Visa sponsorships available. * Base Salary: $240k-$250k DOE and includes Program Directorship. Qualifications * MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent. * Completion of an accredited US FM or IM Residency. * Preference of geriatric medicine certification, or FM/IM with added qualifications in geriatrics, and/or AMDA cert or training. * Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical provider with prior leadership roles highly desirable * WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license. * DEA certificate. * BE/BC required. * Great peer references and in good standing. * Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans. Community * Central WA location has over 300 days of sunshine with 4 mild yet distinctive seasons. * Area known for its wineries/vineyards, microbreweries, picturesque scenery with panoramic views of Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier, fishing, camping, skiing, hunting, hiking, biking, floating the river/white water rafting/kayaking, boating, outdoor concerts, parks-including doggie parks, golfing, drive up espresso stands, and one of the top agricultural hubs in the nation. * 2-3 hour drive to Seattle, Spokane, or Portland. * Airports at Yakima and Pasco (Tri Cities).
