We are seeking an additional Infectious Disease Physician to join our inpatient ID service in Bakersfield, CA. Develop and implement effective treatment plans. * Consultation and Collaboration: Offer expert consultations to other healthcare professionals to assist in the management of complex or unusual infectious cases. * Infection Prevention & Control: Collaborate with hospital infection control teams to prevent, manage, and monitor hospital-acquired infections. Lead or assist in the development of institutional guidelines and protocols. * Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement. * Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations. * Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training. Qualifications * A valid and unrestricted California medical license * Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA) * Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program Pay Range $149.03 - $151.44 /hour
