The Human Resources Generalist will have broad responsibility for coordinating and administering HR programs at Parker IPD’s manufacturing facility in Huntsville, AL. Partnering with the Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s WIN Strategy, division goals and objectives, HR initiatives and fostering a positive work environment. In addition, the HR Generalist, will Provide ongoing support to the Division HR Manager in functional areas of PeopleSoft, annual wage reviews, personnel records, employee relations, benefits administration, AAP/EEO monthly reports, interviewing and special projects. High level of organization skills, engagement and communication are necessary to build relationships with the goal of further positioning HR as a strategic business partner. This role reports to the Division HR Manager. Recruitment:full cycle recruitment of roles within site including job postings, resume screening, interviewing and extending job offers. Payroll: responsible for weekly and monthly payroll process. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for team member inquiries and concerns related to payroll, benefits and other HR related matters. Address employee relations issues effectively and confidently, promoting a positive workplace culture. Training and Development: Identify training needs and collaborate with leaders to implement relevant training initiatives. Coordinate corporate sponsored training. Administer and log entries into Learning Management System (LMS) Performance Management:Partner with functional and operational leaders to completed performance management and talent management cycle. Provide guidance to leaders and team members on performance related matters. HR Reporting and Data Management:Maintain accurate records and generate reports as needed. Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Engagement:Develop and implement local initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale. Work with leaders on engagement actions and monitor progress. HR Projects:Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related/relevant degree. Minimum of 4 years of experience with human resources generalist responsibilities preferred. Experience in manufacturing environment preferred. SHRM or PHR designation a plus. Demonstrated computer literacy, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of PeopleSoft software and/or SAP Success Factors preferred. Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information with discretion, and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job Ability to function well with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, adapt easily to change, manage multiple, often conflicting priorities, and perform tasks under tight deadlines while delivering on time results. Organized, Detail Oriented and able to Multi-task in a Fast Paced environment. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers and interact respectfully with all the levels of the organization. Knowledge or relevant, local, state, and federal labor regulations and agencies. Ability to respond to complaints/inquires from regulatory agencies.
