Hospitalist Physician

Facility in Cambridge, OH seeking Hospitalist locums coverage Rates: $200 - $210/hr Job Overview: * Start Date: December 2024 * Shift Details: * Physician Shifts: * Days: 7a-7p (2 physicians) * Nights: 7p-7a (1 physician) * APP Shifts: 7a-7p (2 APPs) * Daily Census: 31.6 patients * Night Admissions: Average 5-6 admissions per night * EMR System: MediTech * ICU Beds: 12 Specialty Coverage: * Pulmonology (Mon-Fri, with evening and weekend call availability) * Surgery * Orthopedics * Cardiology * Podiatry * Ophthalmology * Interventional Radiology (para, thoracentesis, bone marrow, ports) * PICC Line Nurse available Procedures: * Required: * Intubation (assistance available from RT, who are being trained to intubate all patients) * Central Line Insertions (frequent) * Vent Management * Preferred: * Chest Tubes * Lumbar Puncture Additional Notes: * Anesthesia is currently training RTs for intubation assistance, and RT will be available 24 hours.
