Fraud Surveillance Analyst

As a Fraud Surveillance Analyst, you work on the front lines, monitoring for evidence and signs that a customer committed fraud, gained unauthorized access to a client's accounts, or opened a new account using a stolen identity. To accomplish this, you analyze data from internal proprietary fraud systems and business applications. You also work closely with other teams across Fidelity. You play a critical role in protecting Fidelity and its customers.
The Expertise We're Looking For
- High School / College degree and/or 4 years of work experience in a relevant field
- Shown experience in the financial services industry
- Tried knowledge of financial transactions as well as a firm understanding of trading markets and operations
The Fraud Surveillance group within Fidelity's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) plays a vital role in helping the firm prevent, detect, and respond to incidents which could pose significant financial risk to the firm. As a Fraud Surveillance Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing fraud alerts, for all lines of business, generated through proprietary and commercial surveillance applications.
Working collaboratively in a team environment with other surveillance personnel is paramount in this role. The role also provides the opportunity for candidates to build strong working relationships with business partners.

Fraud Surveillance Analysts play a vital part in protecting Fidelity's customers and our reputation. Tens of thousands of transactions occur daily across all of Fidelity. The Fraud Analyst monitors this activity to detect fraudulent activity and mitigate financial losses.
