As the company expands its operations, it is seeking an experienced Vice President of Investor Relations to join their team in Midtown NYC.Position Overview: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations within private credit, venture capital, or private equity. This role is pivotal in nurturing and managing relationships with investors, writing fund commentary, and working with placement agents ensuring transparent communication, and supporting the firm's strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a strategic investor relations plan to enhance the firm's reputation and investor engagement.Build and sustain relationships with current and prospective investors, providing timely updates and addressing their needs.Oversee the creation and preparation of investor reports, marketing materials, and performance reviews.Collaborate with senior management to effectively communicate the firm's vision, strategies, and investment opportunities to stakeholders.Organize and manage investor meetings, roadshows, and events, ensuring high standards of communication and engagement.Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to offer insights and strategic recommendations.Qualifications:At least 10 years of experience in investor relations within private markets, including private equity, venture capital, or private credit.Demonstrated success in managing investor relationships and communicating complex financial information.Experience managing a team of junior reports.Strong understanding of private credit and private investment strategies.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) is preferred.Work Schedule: This role requires the candidate to work 5 days a week in-person at the Midtown NYC office.Discipline(s): Investment ManagementJob type: Permanent
