Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist

Duties The incumbent serves as the Deputy and alter ego of the Chief of the public affairs group and fully shares the overall responsibility for the oversight and management of the public affairs office.Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. To qualify at the GS-14, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, coordinating, or executing resource management functions across a Public Affairs Program that specialized in supporting water resource management, water supply management, or hydropower management; 2) Evaluating or developing business management operation policies for Public Affairs Program that specialized in supporting water resource management, water supply management, or hydropower management; 3) Performing fiscal management to provide resource planning and requirements forecasts for Public Affairs Program that specialized in supporting water resource management, water supply management, or hydropower management; 4) Advising leadership on resolving policy issues and Public Affairs Program matters that specialized in grant funding outreach campaigns.
