Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide. The Senior Program Manager will assist the AI GPU Capacity planning team, which is responsible for capacity planning and forecasting AI GPU demand. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experienceOR equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications:Additional or Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years supply chain.Inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting).Cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experience.OR equivalent experience.Demand Planning IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or the recruiting process, please send a request via the Accommodation request form.Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.#cscpjobs  #ahsi  #SHPE24MSFT  #CSCPDemand Planning and Forecasts Serves as the owner of the plan or forecast and drives the overall definition plan and incorporates the business drivers into the plan (e.g., forecast, budget).Drives understanding of what is required to achieve plan (e.g., promotions, sales resources, collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment [CPFR], budget, engineering changes).Performs data analyses to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights to develop new forecasting models and improving existing models.Develops short and long term (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) demand forecasts to assist business management in developing business and sales plans for key market maker accounts.Partners closely with Marketing, Finance, and/or Channel Operations to drive optimal short and long-term demand plans to achieve financial and operations targets.Defines forecast key performance indicators (KPIs), tracks forecast performance, and develops plans to continually improve performance.Capacity Planning Balances and optimizes a capacity plan across all cloud workloads that meets customer needs, while maintaining compliance to supply and execution policies, throughput capacities and contractual requirements.Drives supply-demand match and mitigation plans for capacity gaps, as well as what-if scenarios to support decision making with a Service and a profit and loss (P&L) mindset.Serves as a subject matter expert to deliver on capacity plans.Finished Goods InventoryDesigns solutions to adjust to changes in demand after deployment and excessive finished goods.May oversee the reworking of finished goods.Addresses excess goods by leading the repurposing of such goods for components or complex products.Machine Learning and Analysis Collaborates with others and helps lead others to leverage data to identify pockets of opportunity to apply algorithms to improve a solution to a business problem.Consistently leverages knowledge of techniques to optimize analysis using algorithms.Uses statistical analysis tools or modifies existing tools for evaluating and leveraging Machine Learning models for demand planning usage.Calibrates metrics to support decision making for data (e.g., gaining awareness of ideal metrics and use of metrics).Leverages industry standard demand planning methodologies such as machine learning and customer level forecasting to drive more predictability for the Commercial business.Analysis and Insight Generation Interprets data within the context of analyses, which can include methodologies, and compares results across multiple methodologies.Uses their business acumen and broad experience with other business scenarios in order to provide recommendations to the business based on multiple studies or sources.Identifies opportunities to do additional in-depth analysis that addresses latent issues and challenges the business’s assumptions.Informs both current business decisions, and decisions by managing and interpreting complex supply chain data.Lifecycle Management Manages hardware and software roadmap.
