Application deadline is expected to close on Nov 17, 2024What You’ll Do: As a Senior Engineer for Simulation & Automation, on the Cisco 8000 team, you will be responsible for leading, implementing, and optimizing simulation software and tools used in accelerating our IOS-XR & SONIC development. You will work with Silicon One ASIC, SDK, and Network software teams to create digital twice of our router and AI fabric products.Who you’ll Work With:You will be working alongside engineers who are passionate about tackling complex technology, building large scale distributed systems, and contributing to open-source communities and technologies. You will be part of a fast-paced work environment, responsible for revolutionizing our software development process through application of cutting-edge simulation technology.Who You Are: You are a passionate engineer with proven ability to deliver complete software projects with minimal supervision, leveraging technical knowledge and collaborating to solve issues in a multi-functional organization. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors with 7+ years’ experience Or, Master’s with 4+ years’ experience in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering in implementing and deploying simulators or related tools and infrastructure. Experience with C/C++ programming. Experience modeling ASIC’s and NPUs. Experience in python/scripting languages. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
