To learn more about our team, our values and our culture please check out our team site.About the Role The Lead Product Manager, Site Personalization, will conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative personalization strategies to enhance customer experience, increase relevancy, and drive engagement across our digital platforms. This person will define the long-term roadmap while managing the day-to-day strategy and execution of site personalization initiatives with significant opportunities to drive positive KPI growth. The role will report to the VP of WSI Technology for Product Analytics and Site Optimization, Experimentation, and Email Operations.The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, and marketing teams to build personalized experiences that resonate with customers. A strong technical foundation in eCommerce technology and expertise in site personalization development and enablement is essential. The candidate must demonstrate ownership, technical fluency, and an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring the successful delivery of personalized features that meet business goals.Responsibilities Strategic Vision: Define and lead the strategic vision for the Site Personalization program, ensuring alignment with overall business goals to maximize ROI and enhance customer experiences.Personalization Strategy: Conceptualize, design, and help deliver digital site personalization strategies that enhance customers' on-site experience and drive relevancy and engagement across our digital platforms.Roadmap Development: Develop a comprehensive long-term roadmap for site personalization initiatives while managing the execution of day-to-day testing activities to drive continuous improvement.User Story Development: Write clear and concise user stories and define project scope to ensure the development team understands the requirements for successful implementation of personalization features.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with product analysts, UX designers, engineers, and brand stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of personalization initiatives. Foster an environment of collaboration to identify and prioritize high-impact personalization opportunities.Technical Expertise: Utilize a strong technical foundation in eCommerce technology to enable effective personalization strategies. Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovative personalization solutions.Opportunity Identification: Identify new testing opportunities through data analysis, UX studies, and market trends, ensuring a consistent pipeline of innovative experiments.Performance Measurement: Establish clear KPIs for site personalization initiatives. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, conduct postmortems, and drive continuous improvement based on results.Campaign Execution: Lead the execution of site personalization campaigns using industry-standard tools, ensuring thorough testing and deployment of effective features.Project Management: Manage the day-to-day strategy and execution of personalization efforts, ensuring timely delivery of projects and optimal use of resources.Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate personalization strategies, priorities, and results to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. Act as a key liaison between technology and business teams to ensure alignment on goals.Best Practices Development: Develop and document best practices for site personalization processes to improve the quality and efficiency of initiative execution.Customer-Centric Focus: Understand customer needs and behaviors to create exceptional experiences. Ensure that personalization initiatives are aligned with improving customer satisfaction and driving loyalty.Cultural Leadership: Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization, encouraging teams to validate or challenge assumptions about customer behavior.CriteriaExperience:  8+ years of Product Management experience, with a focus on site personalization within eCommerce.  Proven track record of driving high-impact results in technology-driven environments.Ownership Mindset: Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive projects from conception through execution.Technical Proficiency: Robust understanding of eCommerce technologies and personalization tools, with the ability to leverage technology to inform strategic decisions.Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a passion for data-driven decision-making. Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies for site personalization.Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and fostering collaboration across teams.Agile Mindset: A proactive, agile approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancing customer experiences.Educational Background:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.Retail e-Commerce experience preferred.This role requires being onsite in the Brooklyn, NY office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office.Our Culture & Values We believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
