As a key player in our tech ecosystem, you will take the lead in enhancing our network stack for improved ingress, egress, and mesh functionality.

• Offer excellent benefits!Minimum QualificationsExtensive professional expertise in Traffic/Edge Engineering or Cloud NetworkingProven expertise with Linux network stackHighly skilled with one or more advanced programming language such as C, C++, Java or GoHands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Puppet)Experience with automating operations (e.g., software deployments, config changes) at scaleUnderstanding of performance analysis and optimizationsKey QualificationsPassionate about enabling internal partner teamsFull product lifecycle ownership mindset (design implementation production)Preferred QualificationsPassionate about contributing to open source projects such as Envoy (http://envoyproxy.io/ (http://envoyproxy.io/)) and working across a large organization to meet Apple’s dynamic traffic needsExperience with core production engineering best practices (e.g., designing for operability and scalability, adopting SLOs, eliminating toil).Education & ExperienceB.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
