Mental Health Therapist - Salt Lake City, Utah
Salary: $60-$70k (Dependent on Experience) + Full Benefits!
We are actively hiring for a Youth Residential Mental Health Therapist to join our client's team in Salt Lake City. Our client is the largest and most comprehensive non-profit behavioral health and addiction program in Utah. In this role, you will assess and diagnose clients, developing a treatment plan addressing their unique needs. You will establish a rapport with clients by facilitating individual, group, and family therapy and attending recreational outings.
The starting salary for this position is ranging between $60-70k+ (negotiable based upon experience). This is a full-time, permanent position with full benefits, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and other perks.

Job Description:
- Appropriately diagnose mental health and substance-related conditions using the DSM V.
- Appropriately assess client needs using the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria.
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy as assigned.
- Develop an effective level of rapport with clients on caseload while maintaining healthy boundaries.
- Complete thorough and effective assessments, such as funding extension requests, in required time frames.
- Coordinate client psychiatric evaluations and other wrap-around services to provide effective care.
- Complete treatment planning within a required time frame.
- Actively utilize the treatment team for clinical support on caseload.
- Connect clients to community resources.
- Complete service documentation within the appropriate client management system within 24 hours.
- Accurately document services using ASAM Dimensional Analysis format, including all required elements.
- Proactively involve and communicate with collateral supports, including family, significant others, probation officers, judges, caseworkers, and others.
- Complete accurate and thorough client reports, such as court reports, in required time frames.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Eligible to work in the USA
