Float Pool gives the opportunity to develop clinical assessment skills as well as sharpen skills in communication and teamwork. Health care workers who are compassionate, hard-working, and flexible will find working on this unit very rewarding!

  

Units you may float to: Based on scope of practice.

Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, Medical Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, ICU, and more! 

 

Locations included in the St Louis Region: Float to a minimum of 3 Hospitals

  • SLTO: New Ballas Rd
  • Jefferson: Festus
  • South: South St Louis County- Kennerly Rd
  • Washington: Washington, MO
  • Lincoln: Troy, MO
  • Perry: Perryville, MO
  • Southeast: Cape Girardeau, MO

 

Float Pool Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years bedside experience. 12 months of this experience should be within the last year.
  • Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
  • License: current LPN license in our state
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

 

Mercy Regional Travel LPN:

If you are an experienced LPN (must have 1 year bedside experience), we have a Regional Travel position. The LPN will travel to all our Mercy St. Louis area hospitals!  

 

Travel Perks:

  • Base Rate (calculated off experience) PLUS an additional Regional Float Incentive
  • Shift Differential Pay
  • Every 4th weekend
  • Self-Scheduling
  • 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year
  • Travel to a minimum of 3 of Mercy's STL Region Hospitals.
