Description
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing online sales operations for vehicle inventory and an eCommerce parts store while supporting the execution of marketing initiatives to promote the brand and drive customer engagement. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and creative skills to align sales and marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and achievement of revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Coordination (60%)
- Online Sales Management:
- Oversee the online sales process for vehicle inventory and parts eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless operations from product listings to customer delivery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed product information, including pricing, descriptions, and inventory status.
- Customer Support:
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to online sales, resolving issues promptly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze sales data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve online sales performance.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews, leveraging insights to optimize the online shopping experience.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales and inventory teams to ensure adequate stock levels, promotional alignment, and consistent communication across channels.
- Digital Campaigns:
- Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and online advertising, to support sales initiatives.
- Manage and grow the email marketing program, including audience segmentation, campaign design, and performance analysis.
- Content Creation and Coordination:
- Coordinate the production of marketing content, such as newsletters, social media posts, blogs, and promotional materials.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and tone across all platforms and campaigns.
- Social Media Management:
- Oversee the company's social media presence, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve marketing outcomes.
- Market Research:
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for differentiation.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in sales coordination, marketing, or eCommerce roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Working knowledge of digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics and social media management tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Other Skills: Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing is a plus.
- This position may require occasional travel for trade shows, marketing events, or team meetings.
- Primarily an office-based role, with extended periods working at a computer.
- Increase in online sales and customer retention rates.
- Effectiveness of email campaigns measured through open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Growth in social media engagement and audience size.
- Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and data analysis.
- Collaborates with Sales, Inventory, and IT teams.
- Reports directly to Sales Manager.
- Engages with external vendors and partners for marketing and eCommerce support as needed.
