Current staffing: 1 Medical Director, 2 Staff MD, 1 NP, 1 PA
As a Staff Hematologist/Oncologist, you will work directly with the Chief of the service and medical staff to provide the most effective delivery of hematological / oncological care throughout the medical center.
- Potential starting base salary: $320,000 - $350,000
- Pre-approved Incentives Being Offered: $15,000.00
- Daily schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 am 4:30pm
- Additional night and weekend calls are distributed on an equitable basis with the other staff.
- Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery from any U.S. State.

- Malpractice Insurance VA physicians are covered under the Federal Tort Claims Act - 28 U.S.C. 1346 and 28 U.S.C 2671. Medical personnel have statutory immunity from individual malpractice liability while acting within the scope of employment; a VA physician cannot be sued in civil court for a malpractice (tort) claim.
