Job Summary:
The influential and collaborative Atlantic Regional Leader will be responsible for exceeding business plans, revenue growth, client experience and people strategies within a designated geography. We are seeking a hands- on, sales oriented leader with documented success working within a matrixed environment to drive achievement of region objectives. Stellar collaboration skills are required to improve integration of expertise and client service deliverables. The desire to drive growth through profitability, identify acquisition opportunities and retention resonates as the foundation of this highly visible role. Regular travel is amongst expectations to deliver results.

Primary duties, responsibilities and initiatives include, but are not limited to:
- Create, define and execute a 1, 3, and 5-year strategic plan for designated geography with a specific focus on healthy and sustainable organic growth
- Enhance strategies for maximizing cross-sell opportunities across the entire matrix with specific cross sell targets for critical practices in the region
- Develop and lead marketing and sales processes, prospecting, and key account management, to achieve new and retention targets
- Leadership that results in the successful execution of financial results of region and branch plans
- Accountability of strategic elements of company branding, value proposition, talent acquisition & management
- Achieve, if not exceed, KPIs including revenue, EBITDA, growth, and revenue per employee
- Engage local market, industry contacts to expand our network and promote the Risk Strategies' capabilities
- Utilize industry Centers of Influence (COI) to build a growth focused pipeline to exceed organic talent goals
- Create an individual relationship with top client accounts to become viewed as a resource and partner
- Lead the focus of deepening and expanding existing client relationships as appropriate
- Act as a culture carrier and role model for corporate values and behaviors including a commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Attract and develop Producer talent. Foster a culture of sales accountability and compliance, where great performance is rewarded and teams are motivated to contribute at a high level
- Collaborate with National Practice Leadership to lead, manage, and develop regional sales and service leaders to drive business results
- Recruit, retain, and engage critical/high-performing talent through active partnership with HR Business Partner utilizing talent-focused tools and resources
- Work with leaders across the company to fully assess risk, achieve partnership, and put the best and most effective resources in front of our clients and prospects
- Partner with corporate functions as appropriate to advance strategic plan and coordinate service delivery
- College degree preferred; MBA (or similar degree) desired.
- Professional qualifications/insurance licenses as required by the Company or ability to secure within a reasonable timeframe.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance brokerage, with a minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership capacity with direct P&L responsibility.
- Position requires a high degree of financial acumen with an understanding of the insurance brokerage industry, people development and management, change management, and business strategy.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to implement a corporate strategy on a local basis.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams to deliver financial and business results and effectively lead through significant change.
- Proven track record of new business development and existing business retention.
- Ability to set sales goals for production talent and coach to achievement.
