Start Date: Cancer Care Center needs a Locum to Perm Hematology/Oncology provider starting as soon as credentialed! Hematology Oncology Locums position in Albany, NY - $500 hourly Description: Hematology Oncology Locums position in Albany, NY where outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding and weekend coverage is needed. Here are some of the details: * Schedule: Monday Friday 8-5 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Must meet ALL requirements in order to be considered for submission. * Board Certified - Required * Fellowship: Required * NY license only - Required * ACLS: Required * Supervision of APP s: Required * Bone marrow biopsies: Required * CLEAN Malpractice Record: Required Practice Description: * Outreach to neighboring clinics is required * 1:6 weekend call * 1:6 call: Call coverage at both hospitals * Patients per shift: 15 * Department sees most hematology/oncology patients (Community based center), and bone marrow biopsies can be completed right in the Cancer Center. * The providers will consult both ambulatory and hospital patients. * The Cancer Center has 18 Chemo infusion chairs as well as 2 non-chemo infusion chairs. * Patient Population for Required Coverage: 18+ * Number of Physicians in Practice: 3 * Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes we have 4 full-time Radiation Oncologists * How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 5 full-time APs * Clinical Area: Hematology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology, Inpatient Setting, Hematology * Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Community Hospital * Documentation System/EMR: Epic * Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $500 hourly For more information, please contact Danielle McCall at or
