Facility in Pittsfield, MA seeking EM Locums coverage Rates: $300/hr Job Overview: * Start Date: ASAP, with full-time commitment until next summer. * Schedule: 8-hour shifts available, no call required. * Trauma Level: 3 * Annual ER Volume: 44,000 * EMR System: Meditech Expanse * Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days Coverage Details: * Physician Schedule: 8-hour shifts. * Patient Load: Average of 12 patients per 8-hour shift, 18 patients on a 12-hour shift. * APP Coverage: Available from 8am to 10pm in Pittsfield. * Admissions: Handled by the hospitalist or admitting service, not by the Emergency Medicine Physician. * Trauma Team Response Time: 15 minutes. * Code Responsibility: Emergency physicians do not handle codes outside the ER. Requirements: * Active Massachusetts License REQUIRED (not accepting IMLC due to credentialing). * BLS, ACLS, ATLS REQUIRED. * Board Certified/Eligible (ABEM, AOBEM) REQUIRED. * COVID Vaccination REQUIRED. * Clean Background/No Malpractice REQUIRED.
