About the Team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth can not be underestimated. TikTok Shop re-imagines global commerce with rich content and endless joy.
We are looking for energetic product managers to join our TikTok Merchandise Product Shopping team. This team is responsible for creating the strategy, roadmap, and products for all of our merchandising needs on TikTok Shop. As a product manager for this team, you will be responsible for planning end-to-end merchandise products, including but not limited to SKU listing/category management, etc.
Key responsibilities
1. Responsible for building the world-wide product catalog for TikTok Global e-commerce. Based on industry standards, setting up TTS merchandise data standards, data storage and data applications.Support multi-product domains to improve customer experience, and empower our business growth.
2. Define the listing and catalog product strategy, incorporate customer insights, competition analysis, and data analysis, conduct product feature design, identify and execute high priority (i.e. high impact) projects to improve user experience and business performance.
3. Manage product lifecycles. Continually evaluate product performance and key customer insights, ensure new product needs are identified far enough in advance, keep innovative.
4. Work with multi-function teams from international backgrounds on a daily basis.
Qualifications
1. 3+ years work experience with the e-commerce industry. Experience of designing merchandise products is a plus.
2. Previous experience as a product manager/ product design is a must.
3. Be good at defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
4. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication, collaboration and project management capabilities, able to flexibly adjust strategies in complex situations.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in global corporations is preferred.
2. Experience managing people and business operations end-to-end as a remote site leader.
