Java Developer

1. Primary requirements:
   1. The candidate will be responsible for designing new modules for an existing application using Microservices architecture preferably with frameworks like Java Spring boot. This requires 5 years of Java Microservices development experience and also experience developing Restful APIs
   2. The application uses DB2 as the database but will have the possibility to move to a non-relational database. Minimum of 2 years' experience with DB2 and any other non-relational database
   3. The application primarily uses MQ for the communication between several modules. Minimum of 2 years' experience installing, maintaining, developing using IBM MQ
   4. The application is hosted on a containerized platform. The candidate should have experience of deploying applications in any of the containerized platforms like IBM Cloud Private or Open Shift or similar techs
2. "Good to have" requirements:
   1. Part of the application is built in IBM IIB; it will be good to have IBM IIB knowledge and experience
   2. The application we use is IBM Financial Transaction Manager: Experience in IBM FTM is good to have
   3. The payment rail we support is TCH RTP (The Clearing House - Real Time Payments). If the candidate has RTP experience that's a great add
   4. Experience working in an agile environment and coordinating with teams like DEVOPS is a good to have
   5. Experience with Kafka is a great add
